Cooking instructions

Flatten a thick round steak with a meat tenderizer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tbs of red wine vinegar, 0.5 tsp of chili flakes, 1 crushed garlic clove and 3/4 tsp of dried oregano in a ziplock bag. Add the meat and leave to marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Remove the meat from the marinade and pat it very dry with paper towel.

Heat 2 tbs of vegetable oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Fry the steak on one side for 2.5 minutes, flip it, and fry the other side for another 2.5 minutes.

Add 1 curshed garlic clove, 2 tbs of butter and fresh rosemary to the pan, spoon this mixture over the meat while it cooks for another 2 to 3 minutes. Leave the meat to rest for 10 minutes before serving over the juices in the skillet.
