Cooking instructions

Pour about 3 inches of canola oil in a deep cast iron skillet and heat to 350°F.

Empty 2 cups of flour to a large bown and add 0.5 tsp of salt, 0.5 tsp of garlic powder and some freshly ground black pepper.

Pass the squid rings in the mixture and toss into the hot oil.
4.
Fry the squid rings for 1 to 2 minutes only. They should remain pale.
5.
Drain the squid rings on a baking sheet, not on paper towel. Serve with slices of lemon.
