Cooking instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium high heat.
2. Pat a 2 lbs porterhouse steak dry with paper towels and season it with salt and pepper. Melt 1 tbs of butter in the skillet.
3. Sear the steak for 4 minutes per side.
4. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast the meat for 10 to 12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 120°F.
5. Allow the steak to rest on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
