Cooking instructions

In a ziplock bag, pour 3 cups of water, 0.5 cup of kosher salt and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. When the salt and sugar have dissolved, add 2 pork chops. Put in the fridge for up to 8 hours.

Drain the pork chops and pat them dry with paper towel. Heat a cast iron skillet and add the pork chops when it is very hot.

Sear the pork chops for 1 minute on each side.

Flip the pork chops and cook them on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes more, while flipping regularly.
5.
Take the skillet from the heat. Add 2 tbs of butter, 2 crushed garlic clove and some fresh thyme. Baste this over the meat. Allow the meat to rest for 7 minutes before serving.
