Cooking instructions

Rinse 1 lb of fresh green beans under running water. Trim the ends of the beans.

Heat 1 tbs of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add the beans to the oil and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until they are bright and glossy. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of salt. Stir and cook for about 30 seconds.

Add 0.5 cup of water and cover the skillet. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the beans are bright green and tender.

If desired, add a pinch of chili flakes. Serve immediately.
