Cooking instructions
1.
Put the beans in a large pot and cover them completely with water. Bring the water to a boil.

Put the lid on the pot, remove from the heat and let the beans soak for 60 minutes.

Drain the water and rinse the beans. Put the beans back in the pot and cover them with fresh water.
4.
Bring the beans to a boil, reduce the heat and let the beans simmer uncovered for 40 minutes.
5.
Check the beans to see if they are firm, but tender. Add 4 tbs of salt. Cook for 20 to 50 minutes more until they are creamy, but intact. Drain and serve.
