Cooking instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Heat 2 tbs of vegetable oil in a large pot. Season the chuck steak with salt and pepper.

Sear the meat for 3 minutes on each side on medium heat until it gets a nice brown color.

Add 3/4 cup of beef broth to the chuck steak.

Add 1 tsp of dried thyme and 1 tbs of garlic powder.
5.
Cover the pot and transfer to the preheated oven. Bake for 75 minutes for 3 pounds of chuck steak. The internal temperature of the meat should read 145°F when it's done.
