Cooking instructions

1. Season the steaks to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Heat 2 tbs of cooking oil in a deep skillet.
2. Sear the steak for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until the crust look dark brown.
3. Add slices of onion and crushed garlic to the meat and cover the blade steak in beef broth.
4. Bring the liquid to a boil, but immediately lower to low heat and simmer the steak for 75 to 90 minutes. If you boil the steak, it will become very tough. Leave the lid on the skillet.
5. To check the tenderness of the meat, use a fork.
