How to dispose of cooking oil
The most important thing to know about disposing used cooking oil, is to never ever pour it down the sink. Small amounts of grease will build up over time in your pipes and cause blockage. The best way to deal with leftover grease or oil is to let it cool off completely until solidified. You can then scrape it into your bin. If you have a larger amount of liquid cooking oil that won't solidify, pour it back into the plastic container, seal it off and place it in your bin. Ideally, leftover cooking oil needs to be taken to a recycling facility, but this might prove hard to find.
