How does the meat cooking chart work
To obtain safely cooked and perfectly done meat, it's best to use a digital meat thermometer. The cooking time all depends on the degree of doneness you're looking for. Blue steaks or roast only need to reach 80 to 100°F. For rare doneness it's 120° to 125°F, medium rare 130° to 135°F, medium 140° to 145°, medium well 150° to 155°F and well done 165° to 175°F.
